Haven't paid much attention to this bowl since the SBC doesn't have a tie in but for 2023 the bowl with be played in Charlotte at Jerry Richardson stadium.

RE: OT Bahamas Bowl
The Sun Belt currently has 2 bowl-eligible teams and 7 teams within 2 wins of being bowl-eligible. The Bahamas Bowl could be a contender for a bowl we send a team to after filling our 5 slots. I’d love for GS to play a bowl in Charlotte for the one singular reason that I live there and would bring everybody I know to the tailgate.

This year’s Myrtle Beach Bowl is now taking place on a new date (December 16th).
In a statement, officials cited the reason for the change being due to the Bahamas Bowl moving to Charlotte due to stadium renovations in Nassau, Bahamas.

Bahamas Bowl says it is sad to have to be played in clt but that it looks forwards to actually putting fans in that stadium.

When New Orleans was hit by a hurricane we played in the New Orleans Bowl in Lafayette. No name change.

Good. I guess UNCC fans can now watch two real football teams not coached by a clown of a HC dressed up as a drunk farmer who got lost in a corn field play each other. I saw some of that game with FAU and was wondering if a middling FAUx team can do that to Charlotte then how horrible of team is that ECU team that lost to them at home. Geez firing Ruff McNeil might be the coffin nail in that ECU program. What a disaster it has become.

Indeed. That never made sense, and history has shown that. 01-wingedeagle

I’ve said that before on here Ruff Ruff was one of the best things to happen to ECU not to mention was one of the last remaining defendants of the Mike Leach TTU coaching tree
