We'll have a better pitcure of what teams are realistically in/out of title contention after this week. UTech is definitely not an easy out at home!

Hiring the right coach can do wonders for a program.

Don't get us wrong, we are glad you are getting some wins. Still, none of your wins are good wins and you don't even have any good losses. On top of that, your win/loss record itself doesn't come close to getting ANY votes.

All that said, the current top two Southland teams in the standings are UIW and Lamar, leading me to wonder how much stronger the UAC would've been with these two.

What is wrong with ACU today? They are losing to SUU 42-14 in the third.

And when was the last time Tarleton ran a sweep play? Tarleton up 3-0 on UCA first qtr.

We have decided to go all Jekyll and Hyde. Many of us are thinking the players are struggling with some of the scheme, but it's more than that. Twice now we haven't shown up and play like some pop warner league team. Today was pathetic. 03-puke

RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #9
TARLETON gets it done against a consistently-ranked opponent that was coming fresh off a bye-week (more on that later). We did it on the road in one of the toughest environments to play in all of FCS. Tarleton led the entire game, and very much showed why I believe we are 2 BAD PLAYS away from being a Top 10 FCS team this year. The win today ensures that Tarleton's winning-season streak continues, including all 4 years of transition. Tarleton is just 1 of 3 programs in the History of D1 to accomplish that feat, which bodes well about our ability to not pull a scam houston at the next level. Still lots to complain about and improve upon, but I'll save for another post. Today we celebrate a hard fought win and an officially successful transition. 04-cheers 04-clap2 GO TEXANS! ON YE TARLETON!! 04-cheers 04-clap2

Due to the weather there was like 58 people in the bleachers. So saying it was one of the toughest environments this week is not exactly correct. Guys played better. Run game was established early and kept pounding it down their throats. It was a good win.

Not sure where to put this so I’m thinking here as there is a major impact on the UAC if this happens.
