It would be great for SEMOs defense to have a good day. Get some confidence going. I believe Tennessee Tech replaced their starting quarterback last week and started a freshman. So going against a much lesser offense than we have the last 4 games and probably a freshman quarterback. Good week for the defense to shine.

DeLaurent hurt in the 2nd quarter. Announcers said he was holding his wrist
Heitert comes in and drives them down the field for a TD on a pass to McDonald
Gieg also hurt and hasn't come back in. Not a great start for the injury front

On the radio stream Erik just said DeLaurent is now on the sideline in street clothes with his arm in a sling.

So shoulder injuries for both DeLaurent and Vick. MRIs coming. Probably both out for the Nichols game at least.

At least we won and we can survive the next 2 weeks, most likely. If we don't get a running game going though I don't see a way we win the conference or beat UTM.

The offensive line has been very mediocre. We are losing a lot for next year but really need to bring in some significant offensive line transfers
