In watching the replay, there definitely was no targeting. But since he was in a slide and our guy didn’t pull up, stAte was at fault. It was the correct call.
I’ve hated this penalty since it started. Once you commit to a tackling motion, it’s hard to stop it.
I agree with this after watching the replay. Certainly should be a penalty, but I didn't see anything that made me think it was a dirty play.
LOL
He stopped for a brief second, and literally left his feet and launched himself at guy's head...
From my perspective he stopped because he was trying to square up. The way I see it is he thought McCall was going to veer to a side and keep going, when he didn't, the player just went forward to make a tackle. It was a bad idea, and a bad form tackle, and def a penalty, but that was a fast play and didn't seem to carry the ill intentions you're pinning on him.
Agree to disagree.
Looked very much like a launch to me as soon as he left his feet.
We don't have the greatest reputation for clean play over the years I know, but I don't believe that was intentional. It was a very late slide and a young player who was trying to make a play. It's a penalty, but I'm going to point out the replay center had 10 minutes to look at the play and didn't find targeting.
Certainly a penalty and a poor tackle, but I don't believe he did that intentionally.

Beck said McCall is fine, it’s mostly just protocol. Now whether that is true or not we’ll see but don’t think you can make a diagnosis like that from the couch.
Look at this man...I have a hard time believing he should be practice for football game "fine". His head snapped back and he couldn't even get up. I don't know how much clear things need to be here.
That’s why they have doctors and protocols. They’ll make the final decision.
Still, that's likely his 4th or 5th concussion. The Dolphins tried to play Tua last year after a similar situation and it cost him his season and a bunch of doctors their jobs.
You have to be careful with head injuries.
And again, that’s why we have doctors and protocols. I don’t want anyone to rush anything. He needs to take all the time he needs. The doctors need to make him take all of the time he needs. If you can’t trust the doctors in this situation who can you trust? Miami screwed up so I think it taught everyone to be more careful.
