Of course the big game of the week is my alma mater Penn State at Ohio State and this time I don't think I'm a homer saying that.
In the MAC, we could have a MAC Championship Game preview in Miami as both Toledo and Miami each have just one loss and both losses were to P5 teams (although Toledo's was to my other alma mater Illinois so I do question that one:) Miami Ohio also beat Cincinnati earlier this year. Last week I had AAC and MWC games. I would like to showcase some top G5 teams and games the rest of the season so if you know any good ones upcoming, keep me posted! I was going to pick James Madison at Marshall but I really don't like picking Thursday games (Friday games are already bad enough). I hope to pick a James Madison game later on this year.
Tennessee at Alabama is always a good matchup but both teams are definitely down from last year (although that's not saying much).
Out in Miami, we continue to ask the questions is Clemson down or is Miami back? Should be interesting. Out in the Coliseum, USC tries to rebound from their Notre Dame loss vs. the defending conference champions.
