George Gumbs has been a pleasant surprise.
Switching from TE to DE has been a pleasant surprise. He seems to be improving. If he can improve his pass rushing technique, he could be a very solid DE for a few years.

Agreed. Hanson is playing at a high level. and our D line has been very solid. Not a lot of production on the stat sheet vs ohio because they had a very good O line but they still got enough pressure on Rourke to make him uncomfortable.

Lets keep it rolling on Saturday! Defense wins championships

Maybe I missed him but it seemed like CJ Brown wasn't really out there and Hansen was getting all the reps. Is Brown injured again?

The entire defense has been a huge improvement, they have been fun to watch all year. I think that it is time to try a new coordinator for the offense. I liked the Eidsness hire at the time but it is now time to admit that for whatever reason he did not work out.

Brown is injured

My guess is he won't be back and they try to redshirt. I think he got hurt in the Neb game?

Brown played at Akron but was out again last weekend. He's played in three games this year.

It’s fair to say I didn’t really notice him missing. Hansen had a nice game, and I like Hansen’s speed better anyway.

Does he have a redshirt left?
