I don't think so. Marshall has a 0.0% chance to win the division according to ESPN FPI.

What I'd prefer to avoid any asterisk business from JMU folks... again... Is for them to drop the last two conference games so Coastal can win outright. No hurt feelings or any lingering backdoor NCAA bypasses to worry about.
I would love for Coastal to be a part of a CCG game without some type of controversy surrounding for once...

Off the top of my head…so I may be off a bit:
How to win the east:
App - 2 conf losses - win against both JMU and GS
Coastal - 2 conf losses - beat JMU
JMU - 0 conf losses - win an appeal. Beat App or Coastal.
GSU - 4 conf losses - unsure if there’s a way
GS - 3 conf losses - beat ODU and APP, coastal loss to JMU
Marshall - 4 conf losses - unsure if there’s a way
ODU - 3 conf losses - unsure if there’s a way because of tiebreakers.
JMU just needs to win 1 more conference game to punch their ticket, but it won’t matter without the appeal. For now this race is now between Coastal, App, and GS. Coastal now controls their destiny and has the simplest road to the championship game, but that road is thru the best team in the east. Can they do it? If they do, they punch their ticket. If they lose, both GS and App can take it if they win out. GS has the tiebreaker over Coastal, Coastal has the tiebreaker over App. These last two weeks could be absurd.
