Can't wait to play Whorn
It's been 21 years, a year after Bleacher-gate and this is likely the last time they will come to our actual stadium and not NRG to play us. I'm hyped and have tickets and if we win, you can bet your sweet ass I'm storming the field.

UH-Texas used to be a heated rivalry in the SWC and hopefully this game can bring back some nostalgia.

You know they're going to beat the hell out of Houston, right?

You never know. I guess that the line is about -10 if it's in Houston and more like -15 if it's in Austin, but there have been far greater upsets in the very recent past.

edit: hmmm, it looks like the line is -22. I don't make casual wagers like that, but if I did, I'd bet a whole lot on UH to at least cover.

I would advise against that. UT is going to annihilate us. Could very easily be a 40-50 type slaughter.

What's the significance of "Whorn"? Except for the context of the thread I wouldn't suspect we were talking about UT.

Texas is coming off a loss to OU at the state fair, and a bye week. They can't wait to stomp someone's a$$ and get some positive attention. Houston is just going to be the victim.

Yup. The week to catch them would’ve been last week when we were coming off a bye. The fact that they’re rested and have had a week+ to prepare kills any shot we had at even making the game competitive.

I have nothing against Texas. But I would like to see Houston win. I've posted many times: Houston, Memphis, Louisville and Cincinnati are like brothers. Good luck to the Cougars.

Can't wait to play Whorn
I predict Houston wins the 4th quarter 7-0.

That avoids the shutout and gets them back under 2x the 22 point spread.

This is going to be UT in a cake walk.

Combination of "wh*re" and "Horn", I presume.

It's just taking "rivaly" and turning it into "disrespect". I never said that even when I was in the corps in college, but a lot of my buddies still call them that.

Because they're a whore for money and the high life. That's a typical term by Coog fans.

A lot of non-UT-Austin fans call them that, regardless of the actual school they attended.

Which outfit were you in?

I’ve never heard an Ag refer to them as “whorn” since it sounds like “horn”. Every reg I’ve ever met said “sip”

“Whorn” is found on tceh , Baylor, and cougar high sites

A 'rivalry' to y'all, not to anyone else.

Texas used to hate us. To date, we're the only school they've ever stormed the field for after a win.

We all hated each other for a VERY long time. It's taken me over a decade of being in the SEC, and nearly 30 years since the death of the SWC to start to get over that. Nowadays, I mostly want Texas schools to do well, other than UT ofc.

It's used a lot on Dirt Burglars, along with "UTerus" (think someone may have been looking at the Longhorn logo for that one).
