Stock will somehow get to his 6 wins and another million-dollar automatic extension.

Liberty struggled at home last time vs. Sam Houston. Don't think that happens again. This is a coaching mismatch.

ANY TIME MT is playing it's a coaching mismatch. In a battle of wits every other coach is playing chess and stockstill is playing checkers.

I believe Liberty wins. MTSU will put up a good effort, but in the end, I think the Flames are just too strong.

I'm now in the group that sees any MT victory as a Big Surprise. We barely held on against La Tech and not sure we will still be in striking distance by the end of the first half against Liberty

I hope we can run the score up enough in the first half that we can get the backups plenty of playing time and keep our starters from getting even more banged up. Unfortunately I'm sure MTSU will put up a good fight and hang around until we pull away in the 4th quarter.

Just to show that even our writers on the GoMiddle.com site have us getting hammered by Liberty tomorrow night. Believe one guy has us losing 41-17 and the other says 35-17. Seems about right. On top of that the Director of Player Personnel (some 29 year old wannabe) just got busted for Indecent Exposure! Gonna be a really Bad Week for the Boyz from the Boro!

I gotta tell ya, there are some WKU fans that get upset with Helton's coaching decisions--and rightfully so. But when I watched the WKU-MTSU game a few weeks ago I realized how good we had it! Can there possibly be a more non-motivational, uninspiring coach in America than Stockstill? I really don't think so--he just looks like he's lost on the sidelines.

I love beating the Blue Raiders as much as the next guy, but I feel for you down in the 'Boro. You deserve better.

I think Helton's play calling cost Western at least 1 to 2 games every year and keeps the score closer than it needs to be in a few others. But I dont think he would call a QB draw on 4th and goal at I believe the 7 yard line.

As bad of a coach as Stock is I expect Middle will make this a closer game than most people think. Usually the stars align correctly for at least one game Middle is a big dog....so is this game the one

The Jax St game was the one game Stockstill/Middle usually has every season. Where everything lines up perfect then falls apart.

Conspiracy theorists (and I'm starting to become one) think either it's UT-arnge higher-ups directing him, or he's doing it out of spite for his disdain of our longtime football coach and AD Boots Donnelly.

McPhee fired him as AD, and Donnelly found out about it on the athletics website.

Some think Stockstill has some info on McPhee that he doesn't want out. McPhee has already gone to trial for sexual harassment in the past.

I genuinely hope we lose and I think we will. However, we always seem to win one we shouldn’t. This might be a trap game for Liberty. They’ve got WKU next week on the road. The winner of that game likely will host the conference championship game. The more I think about it the more I think we keep this one tight.

MT will lose tonight, but win out to finish 6-6 for the Bahamas Bowl.

Is it basketball season yet? I think I first said this about 10 years ago that it was a sign of the apocalypse that I was wanting to get to MT basketball to get FB over with. Yet, the world hasn't ended yet. Maybe it's finally starting in Gaza.
