Pat McAfee is classless trash, Desmond Howard is a cocky you know what, and Kirk Herbstret is nothing more than a bootlicker for Ohio State. Lee Corso should have retired a long time ago. What they are doing to him is elder abuse. I hope ESPN crashes and burns to the ground. Any company dumb enough to buy that dumpster fire of a network is committing financial suicide.
Don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel.
Their game day announcers made some stupid comments, that doesn't mean that the company should die a fiery death.
ESPN is owned by Disney. It deserves to die a slow and painful death. Disney is the most corrupt media corporation in history.

They went to the Sugar Bowl and Fiesta Bowl when he was there (and actually won those games, as opposed to Leaf in the Rose Bowl).
In the game of life, it’s McAfee over Leaf and it isn’t close

I kinda like him, knowing that I’m not the audience he was hired to attract. But he brings an energy to the show that had been missing for a while. It doesn’t take. Ugh for it to be too much but he’ll mellow out over time, or at least be more judicious about when he goes all-in on zany

Surprised that McAfee is crapping on OSU-WSU when he seemed to show App State a lot of love when he was in Boone with GameDay.

It's a company designed to make profits. If you're defining corrupt as "most financially successful", then you might be on to something. They're all either corrupt or trying to be more corrupt using your apparent definition. As are all companies for that matter.

Seriously, how many of you knew he had a job with PointsBet?
Actually, it seemed he was getting his life back together and was a decent announcer but then had a domestic violence charge that once again cost him. Tigers don't change their spots.
Tigers have stripes. Leopards have spots.
Yes, I know. I was making a joke.

Well, he's not wrong, tigers don't don't change their spots. Neither do zebras. That was a pretty ham-fisted insult though, kind of like SDSU's ham-fisted fumbling and bumbling through the realignment drama over the past year.
Ryan Leaf's issues have all been self-induced. I don't believe pointing that out is insulting him, just a statement of fact.

Disney is the most egregious though, with Time Warner as a close second and Viacom as a close third.

RE: Ryan Leaf v Gameday
Gameday has been tilting toward the gimmickry column for some time. Other than Daily News Live on the Philly NBC/Comcast sports channel, it used to be my favorite "analysis" or "talking head" show. I didn't need it to be "The Sports Reporters" or "Outside the Lines," but I felt like it covered a lot of ground as it was.
It's unwatchable trash now. It was this way before they sprinkled Pat in there, though. But, with him, yeah, no mistaking it for what it is now.

How do you measure this alleged corruption? I suppose you could use a measure of "how many current and former Disney Executives have been convicted of securities crimes compared to other media companies". That seems like a lot of work, with the added frustration at the end that it could very well fail to prove our preconceived notion. Hmmmm, how else could we measure this alleged corruption? How about "which of these companies has made the most money, THAT one surely has to be the most corrupt"?
I swear, so many people these days seem to think that making money is inherently a bad thing. There's a name for an economic system that prevents people from making money and offers collective ownership of all assets. What is that...hmmmm...give me a minute and it will come to me.
See? Ryan Leaf has so much bad juju that's he's made us derail this entire thread. Maybe he's just cursed.
