Mid-80s. More like week #1 and less like week #4.

Advantage JSU.

WMU is up by 10 on UT at the half. Maybe they aren't as formidable as some think.

BSU getting smacked by GA Southern and NIU is offensively challenged.

The MAC is up for grabs.

Game over were toast. 14-0 in basically the first quarter. No sign of an offense for us yet.07-coffee3

We really look anemic offensively! I realize this isn't a MAC game, but no way we're A MAC championship caliber team so far! CC, is back to his basic simple offensive play calling! 3 more quarters of play!

Holy crap this is embarrassing. Among our 3 best players is our Punter

Offense has zero identity and we don't have a single quarterback that is capable of throwing with ANY kind of accuracy. I give CC credit for at least trying all 3 QB's to try and generate a spark but my God, all of them look bad and are TERRIBLY off on all their passes

Defense, minus a couple explosives, has looked pretty good.

How is Austin playing this poorly after playing a handful of games last year and an entire off-season.

Jaylon Jackson looks good, to his credit.

I would have taken Ben Bryant if he would have come. Our QBs today can't hit the broad side of a barn.

I would NEVER gone into a season with so little experience at ALL QB. I watched the NIU game and they may have 3 QBs better than our best QB.

CC definitely looks like he peaked for one season! We look like A D2 offense! If it wasn't for our defense, this game would be long over! Mindboggling our offense 4 games in......McCoy needs an opportunity now! You almost can't win when Tomasek is your MVP.......

I'm not really surprised by the offense.

Didn't we lose Sow, Johnson, etc on the left side of the Ol. Good WRs and
TEs. And a very experienced, productive QB...

I don't even know what to say about this. It reminds me of a really good, really well run high school program (a DCC, De Le Salle, Cass Tech, Clarkston, Rockford, etc., if you're from the Michigan area) playing a very bad program. First, I'm not really sure why we didn't try to establish the run from the very start of the game, the drive right before half showed you can run on them. Even the announcers on the ESPN+ feed (who are obviously the local Jacksonville State guys) were talking about being surprised we didn't try to run on them. Besides that, there is really no way for us to score. Having Knue out is huge, we have no WRs that can get open, and the o-line doesn't give the QB anytime to throw...it's pointless. The defense has been decent, they can't really throw the ball, but no help from the offense in terms of points or giving them a rest. I know we are down three touchdowns, but I'd keep trying to run it, it's our only shot in my opinion.

The most frustrating thing is that it seems the offense has gotten worse each week of the season. I didn't really expect us to win this game after seeing the first three weeks...but I didn't expect this.

I mean sure, they lost those guys...but you aren't surprised the offense is THIS bad? They still returned two four year starters on the o-line, and two part-time starts, their leading WR, their two stud RBs, and a QB with some starting experience. We lose guys every year but the offense has typically been able to sustain...this is going back to pre-2016 level.

Debated between going for a bike ride and watching the game. Glad I chose the bike ride.

I didn't expect a win, but yikes.

Listen, I get this game doesn't impact us going for a MAC championship, but this game was ridiculous. How on Earth can we think we have what it takes with these stats...
Tonight we were 1-15 on 3rd downs and we allowed 6 sacks

So far this season we have scored 56 points in 4 games and 14 of those were from return touchdowns. Thateans the offense has accounted for 42 points in 4 games!!!!

Our starting QB has more picks than touchdowns through 4 games.

I love CC but in year 10, how is this possible. How does Rich Rod in year 2 take a team that is almost brand new to FBS and shut you out?

Guys, the product on the field after 16 quarters is the worst I've seen in years. Man do I hope we turn it around but I just don't see it. This could be a long year and if these coaches aren't scouring the QB transfer portal and our coaches (Piatkowski) can't figure out an offensive scheme other than pound the ball to Evans, then we are in for a 4 win season.

Actually, only 40 points from the offense, there was a safety too.

According to ESPN stats (often wrong for these games), Samson only ran it 3 times. He was actually the leading receiver at 3-26.

13/29 passing + 6 sacks. 35 running plays - 6 sacks. A team with single digit QBR is throwing more than it runs. Our all-conference powerback is the leading receiver and gets fewer carries than our QBs throw ints.

Maybe a former college QB and passing coordinator isn't the best choice for OC?
