I know Utah State looked terrible against AFA. But that was at AFA.

I think Cignetti has these guys locked in. I didn’t see any tomfoolery on the side lines and everyone looked laser focused. I expect that again next week. They’re playing to go home and be home in front of JMU nation 4-0.

Before the season if someone would've asked if I would take 3-1 in this stretch, I'd take it. Having said that, if we pull this one off I would say it's the most impressive four game stretch in CCs tenure. A healthy LB core could go a long way, the status of JWalk and Taurus will be important as the week unfolds.

Help me decipher what this means for people in VA. TV for the game.

Yep, game is streaming for free though the MWC app. If you have a device capable of casting it to your TV, that's going to be the move.

I was really excited to see Ponds flash some brilliance yesterday. I thought he had excellent pattern recognition and really seems to have a high football IQ to go along with his track speed. With the guys we have coming in and as Ponds and Logan further develop, our secondary may turn into a strength in the coming years.

It seems the elite guys trust their instincts and training, he certainly showed that quality on that play.

No idea on injuries to the LBs but I would surmise by what I saw last night with Ty that he may be done for season with a knee injury.

Utah State benched their QB during the Air Force game and went their version of Colandrea from UVA. A 5'10 185 freshman McCae Hillstead led a couple TD drives off the bench. I wonder if they will try to play the OR game on the QB depth chart this week.

They seem to be a balanced attack on offense, but the passing game goes through their version of KT in Terrell Vaughh. He's 5'7, but already has 29 receptions through three games, with 4 TDs.

FPI predictor is rather worthless imo. Should switchover to SP+
In game, their statistical win percentage is a little better.
