Greetings from Division 2, Romance Dawn!!!
I think I am going to slowly move all of my D2 posts over here, because truthfully, non-football schools in D2 really need their own home, and this would be a fine home!!

A little bit of background on me as it relates to this board: I graduated from the University of Montevallo, Alabama's only public liberal arts university back in the fall of 2000. Montevallo is a wonderful place, and truly unique!! While I'm sure that we have some "unapproachable" athletes on our sports teams, most of 'em are just regular guys & gals going to college for their education, and want to be normal students like everyone else.

The University of Montevallo plays in 2 D2 conferences: the Gulf South Conference (where many of our rivals are) and the Peach Belt, that has schools more similar to us. I'm going to focus on the Peach Belt since the Gulf South Conference sponsors football.

Edit: almost forgot, the sports that the Montevallo Falcons play in the Peach Belt are men's & women's lacrosse
