Schultz is a radio host, currently in Lafayette, Louisiana. He used to be in Mobile, Alabama. Schultz and Scott worked at the same station about 15 years ago in Jacksonville. He reached out to us last year to interview ODU folks about the South Alabama game. We’ve done a few interviews with him since that time.

I'll make a prediction. Win or lose, it will have absolutely zero to do with the color of our uniform.

Hey, guess what. Its called changing things up because our current formula is not working. No, im not extremely superstitious. But I do believe you have to change things up every once in a while if the current formula just isnt working.

Looking at the weather Saturday it likely won't matter, but every little advantage is worth pursuing.

It is not about superstition.
The fact is that dark colors absorb heat.
On hot days, light color helmets and uniforms should always be the norm if possible.

If they were worried about wearing the dark colors that would certainly indicate that they are "soft".

I sincerely hope that Justice Ellison is the primary RB against us. The Jr was the #1 last year on what can only be described as an anemic rushing offense.
Dedmond Claiborne is the real deal, and like Ray Lawry, makes yardage on his own.

They are both pretty good. Ellison got the carries last year, this year Claiborne is getting more.

If they were worried about wearing the dark colors that would certainly indicate that they are "soft".

I believe in getting any competitive advantage to win that you can get. If you can make the other team sweat more in heat, you do it. If you can pick up on other teams signals for plays (legally), you do it. Its not dirty. You try to get a competitive edge anyway you can these days. And for a soft team defensively, they need anything that they can get right now.

The high on Saturday is 84.

Unless we added some 47 year old players, wearing dark jerseys will not affect them.

I have a feeling you would make this same argument if it was 100 degrees outside. But hey, believe what you want to believe. Our record in dark blues speaks for itself against p5 opponents.
