Delta is on the edge of the footprint and Miss College isn’t too far off so maybe they could get in. West Florida needs to move up. Valdosta says they don’t have the money. West Alabama is just screwed.

The six non-FB could survive on their own.

Maybe recruit Faulkner from NAIA.

I'm wondering if the reason that the GAC split was more due to olympic sports travel. Olympic sports wouldn't be involved here. Regardless, Faulkner does need to be recruited from NAIA, IMO.

They would have to merge with another conference if that were the case. Would the Lonestar Conference be willing to merge?

Doubtful, because the Lone Star is too far away. The GAC (Great American Conference) would make more sense, for football. The Peach Belt could be an intriguing possibility for olympic sports.

What about the SAC, and the Conference Carolinas for olympic sports?

SAC is another idea for football, but I'm preferential toward the Peach Belt for olympic sports because a lot of GSC teams have their lacrosse teams in the Peach Belt anyway, and the Peach Belt would be willing to work with us, IMHO. Conference Carolinas could be an option for football as well.

The SAC is pretty loaded right now, but the OVC is looking at Carson Newman and Tusculum as potential adds to the conference. That's why I brought up the SAC in case they lose teams.

I agree. I’d also like to see MTSU and WKU as well.

The MAC needs to stop being complacent and start being proactive. They are dying in FB, sometimes you gotta get a new girlfriend...
