The only way to allow photos or videos to be brought into a crowd discussion is if it's at the very end of the first quarter. Never, when the band is on the field, whether it be at the beginning, as the team runs onto the field, or at halftime.

We, JMU, will have a sell-out crowd for FW, but looking at the stands at the opening kickoff, and you'll never believe the game is sold out. Look at the stands again at the end of the first quarter, the stadium will suddenly be packed. Then, midway through the third, it will start emptying out.

I don't get it, but it happens. The score can be tied at 21 and the wife will decide it's a good time to leave the stadium and shop at the bookstore. The female students begin leaving and the males soon follow. It's just the way it is.

That's true.
However, not looking better in this shot early in the 2nd Quarter. I'm going to say they are using tickets sold for reporting.

Or people want to leave early to beat the crowd. Another thing is cell signal. Even when half full AT&T does not work well (if it even works at all) at Hancock Whitney Stadium. The same was true at Ladd Stadium. That’s not how you get young people to stay. USA has apparently added some signal boosters to the stadium this off-season so I’m looking forward to being able to use my phone this year. We’ll see if students tend to stay longer or not.

The best place I’ve found for scores is Duck Duck Go by searching “NCAA Football Scores”. They show every game both FBS and FCS instead of just Top 25 games.

I have the Yahoo! Sports app. I can pull up scores by conference, Top 25 or "All FBS". FCS is another option, for those that care.

Yeah I was gonna post something very similar. And SMU has nothing to be too proud of with the crappy performance they put on. That final score does not reflect just how bad the turds were. Their slide into oblivion continues on.
