Game Day Weather
Not sure who has looked at the 10 day forecast for your home games, but Monroe is gonna experience a cooling trend. We are going to have a nice brisk 98 degrees for a high with humidity around 45%.

Got home last night around 7:30 and it was still 93.

I am hoping this weather plays to our favor. Army has been practicing with highs in the upper 70s. No way to simulate the heat they are going to face.

Forecasted high of 89 in Jonesboro, but we're on the road so that doesn't mean much. It's not supposed to get above 90 degrees here all next week.

I am getting a little tired of this "heat dome". I really don't want to see my electricity bill this month.

Right now a high of 77 and low of 55 on 9/2 with 7mph wind. Sounds great to me since I live off the mtn and I'm tired of mid-90s with humidity.

Forecast high of 83 in Statesboro. Supposed to be sunny and 81 at kickoff with humidity at 48%. A very pleasant day for football in SE Georgia.

Um....I don't think Army will be out of shape. Regardless of the temp.

I don't either. But there is a hell of a lot difference between 70s and 90s.

It's been hot and dry so I would predict that South's games will probably be stormy and miserable.

He didn't say anything about Army being out of shape. They will have not spent four weeks practicing in the heat that they'll face in the game. That's the question being asked.

RE: Game Day Weather
We don't play our home opener till week 3, but we already pushed kick-off back 90 minutes to 7:30 due to expected heat.

High of 103 in Waco for next Saturday. May sound hot but cooler than we've been experiencing in north Texas for the last month or so. High was 111 today. Honestly I'm used to it at this point. I can stand out in low-100s all day without issue. Players likely pretty used to it as well I'd imagine.

predicting humidity to be mid/upper 50s and rising up towards 70% at night. Imagine it will be much worse in Lafayette. Then again, you are playing Northwestern so not much of an advantage as they have been going through the same thing.

When I lived in Arizona, I had a friend who was complaining about the heat. I told him "you don't understand hot until you experience upper 90s and above 70% humidity."

Actually I’m seeing high of 88, which may be due to the fact that they are projecting on overcast with about a 30% chance of rain.

Correct. His main point was just they will not have experienced the heat we have lived thru this summer. Just hoping for an advantage.
