Most teams are releasing their full schedules individually as well. So post them below and say why yours is better than theirs.

As BOP said in another thread yesterday, if the Saturday game is a 400+ mile trip from the scheduled weekday game preceding it, that weekday game will be on Wednesday, not Thursday.

I like that there is only 1 regular season non D1 school. I’d rather there be none. Interesting game in Lewisburg. Itd be cool to make that our MTE going forward. We do have a power conference team on the schedule. We miss Arkansas St this year from the other division. The conference has adopted a hybrid Wed/Thur then Sat model. They’re giving teams an extra travel day if the Saturday game is over a certain distance from the Wednesday game. Overall, I like this slate a whoooole lot more than last years.

Wait, you guys know your OOC schedule by now? We lost all our scheduling contracts that were existing when we decided to actually recruit, so we have no idea who we are playing outside of a few games.

I was going to compliment our SBC Bretheren on playing so few non D1's this year so far, but then App had to ruin it by scheduling something called Penn Central.

Hey we only scheduled two this year. That's progress.

Also, not to narc, but ULM scheduled two as well.

EDIT: Plus, we get a pass cause we're hosting Auburn.

Pretty sure this is Richard's last year. Surprised he got one more but I think new AD thought it was enough to have to replace WBB and VB coaches while taking over a department in disarray. So the new coach and AD will work on the scheduling (I hope). Actually, it isn't too bad of an OCC with some winnable games, some that could go either way and a couple of tough opponents.

I don't like the fact that our men AND women have a home DH on opening weekend of baseball (Feb 17). Gonna make for odd scheduling that day for USM unless baseball opening day is the weekend before which is when we are scheduled to host the MAC cross over game

That could possibly be used to get more people to the basketball games if done correctly. But, yes, it does make for some logistical issues.

AState released its OOC schedule today. Its a full SWAC Style, meaning we're not playing at home except for a couple games. Balado rarely scheduled home and homes for basketball, preferring to buy games against Non D1's and SWAC's instead. So Hodgson inherited a scheduling nightmare with only a long term series with UALR scheduled. We're no longer playing Non D1's so yeah.

We're going to need some patience here. Fans complained for years that they'd come to games if we stopped playing 3 Non D1's and 3 SWAC teams at home every year. Well, this is what you get. Zero Non D1's. Plan was to play only one SWAC, but difficulty finding willing opponents meant we had to add another.

Fans are going to have to tolerate fewer home games and weaker OOC records as a trade off. We've got 5 guarantee games on this schedule. 4 against P5 teams.
