Depends on how into college baseball folks are. Most Liberty baseball fans my age seem to know, but definitely easy to understand why some don't when they only know who we've played & whoever else they pull for here in the SE.

I give full credit to Coach Tim Corbin at Vandy. Even though they are a championship caliber program he doesn't hesitate to schedule local teams who generally field competitive teams.

Agree, but the games are almost 100% at Vanderbilt.

Would be interesting to look at the number of "local" non-SEC teams Vandy plays in mid-week games at home versus on the road the last ten years. I bet you could count them on one hand. This year it's 12 at Vanderbilt, 0 on the road.

Maybe it would be more of a complement to his scheduling if they played local teams on the road occasionally. Really typical of almost every SEC team, though.

Actually if I'm correct they have play quite a few at WKU. I think close to 50-50
