Predictions for the 2023 Football Season
With football less than a month away, I'm stoked for this coming season!

Now that SEC Media Days have come & gone, here are the predicted outcomes for the SEC.

What do you agree with, & what do you disagree with?

Personally, I think they have the top 3 correct, but after that, I think there's some room for debate. While I think the Gators are still at best a season away, let's be honest, it's probably 2 years away at best. But, I do think that they finish top 4. I'm not sold on South Carolina, & if the Gators can steal a win against Tennessee, they'll finish 3rd in the East behind UGA & UT or Kentucky, with the other finishing just behind them.

In the West, I think everyone behind LSU has a chance to finish 3rd behind them, with the exception of Mississippi St. Auburn could surprise with Freeze, though they're probably more likely to finish 5th. Also, unless Jimbo can magically turn the corner, I think there's another disappointment in store this season.

Let me know your thoughts on the projections!

I think you are pretty accurate with your predictions. Starting to think Jimbo was a bad bet for the Aggies. He has zero excuses. Recruiting has been off the chain. He has been given all the tools to succeed and has the Aggies sliding into oblivion.

Agreed. This is his make or break season. If he can't make a dent, TAMU may need to find someone else before Texas rolls up into the conference.

Jimbo was on staff at Auburn for a while. He's one helluva a recruiter, but disorganized as a general manager of a staff. He skated on Bowden's organization until he couldn't maintain it. Then his second major issue cropped up, discipline. The culture at A&M has helped him some on the latter, but the organizational skills are still missing.
