UNC
NC State
Wake
App State
ECU
Clemson
South Carolina
Virginia Tech
Geogia

I'll bet there are also more fans of teams that don't even border North Carolina. Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, maybe Penn State... all command more local views on TV than UNCC.

Ohio State alone. They have fans EVERYWHERE, especially in cities like Charlotte that draws new residents from other regions of the country.

By the way, you forgot in-state Duke and bordering state U of Tennessee.

To be fair, there are just so many, that’s it’s hard to remember them all.

I also live in Charlotte and can agree

It’s Clemson, UGA, and UNC on top followed by USC, App, and NCST/Duke

Then you see ECU, Wake, and Tennessee here and there

Throw in NC Central and NC A&T. They got big fanbases in Charlotte.

I'd bet there are plenty Marshall alumni in Clit to make that list.

What the heck? Why did UNCC hire this old guy with no experience. He's got the ego of Bill Belilchick without the resume.

He was apparently hired by Jim Harbaugh to be an AHC. I agree with whoever said this is a hire that can go really badly or really well.
