Just hear about it more due to the increase in media scope/social media in sports. In the nineties you only heard about it if it was someone like Hank Gathers or Reggie Lewis.

It's definitely more than that at play. Something that was once rare is common in 2023. All the people that followed the gut and their own mind knows what's happening right now.

RE: Bronny
people are discovering more and more folks with heart issues. I had never heard of atrial fibrillation, until I found out I had it.
Then I started hearing about it right and left after that.
Prayers sent for the young man.

Common?

Well, his buddy Shareef O'Neal had/has a serious heart issue as well. IDK.

I've watched a couple of Dark Horse Podcast videos with Bret Weinstein and guests discussing covid vax impacts.

The stats aren't coming from the medical community. Instead they're coming from insurance adjusters. Deaths of seemingly young, healthy males have increased 6 times since the vax.

Life expectancy in the United States has increased dramatically since the invention of the zipper.

I'm afraid I need to see the numbers and an actual correlation, not causation. Believing in crackpot theories is why so many people are allergic to peanuts.

Lots of numbers available but you won't see them promoted by the CDC or FDA. Here's one respected source:

No offense but I'm not going to spend all day looking thru COVID articles, if you have a specific study or studies that support the above numbers then please point me to that. I'm not going to send you to the grocery to find a specific cereal, and the only qualifier I give you is that it's in aisle 9.

Not sure if you looked at the link but it is a very specific study published in a respected medical journal with summary info in the first few paragraphs that clearly showed the higher risk of myocarditis among young males. Reading it probably would have taken less time than writing your cute response.

Per the journal publication, we're talking 809 cases out of over 285 million vaccinations. Do you genuinely believe this supports the narrative coming from the lunatic fringe?

RE: Bronny
Yale published a study in the journal Science Immunology which indicates 22 to 36 cases of myocarditis (described as "a generally mild inflammation of heart tissue which can cause scarring but is usually resolved within days") per 100,000 vaccinations among males aged between 12 and 17. Nevertheless, a far cry from characterizing it as young men dropping dead left and right after vaccination, and by any standard it is a very rare side-effect. Furthermore, there is zero published evidence that Bronny James's heart attack has any relation to the vaccine and zero published evidence that he has myocarditis.

Yale study reveals insights into post-vaccine heart inflammation cases

Ok, first time I clicked on it I was taken to the front page. My apologies.

Sadly this is the study I was hoping it was not, it's well known, has been discussed ad nauseam and does not support the above stats of "six times." This study comes to projected estimates of 11 doses per million across all age groups will result in Myocarditis, or 0.000011%, and it also states that Myocarditis infection data prior to COVID is unknown, hence the increase rate is technically unknown, though the ceiling seems to be around 11-fold. Also, no one in the study died from Myocarditis. One thing that is abundantly clear, the largest number of cases are young men in their mid to late teens, statistically insignificant though those numbers may be so folks have that going for them.

I'd be more concerned about the Israeli study & VAERS data. Both of which got knee-jerk rejections by NSAID, CDC, FDA. The irony is that the VAERS system is a US gov system & that reports related to the Covid vaccine adverse effects exceed all entries for all other vaccines combined. That alone should be concerning.

Hank Gathers had a known medical issue with his heart and stopped taking his meds. Lewis was found to have an underlying heart issue as well.

Those are not examples we should ever bring up in comparison to healthy 18 year olds having cardiac arrest out of nowhere.

Hopefully Bronny makes a full recovery.

Could also be partly the fanatical and over the top strength and conditioning coaches at some of these programs. They push these guys to the point of exhaustion just to see how they react. Anyone with a marginal health issue might struggle when pushed to the limit.
