Eye test says 83 is a *bit* low for us but I get it. TXST is going to have an absolute grind this season.

We have 2 two ACC teams on the schedule, you would think we would have been higher...

Yep. Hard to believe with Tech, NC State and ECU on the OOC schedule, we are that low. I call BS.

It's calculated by opponent win percentage from last season, so if you're playing one of the weaker teams in the stronger conferences you don't get any credit for it.

Southern Miss' schedule: Bama - much harder than any of yours. Mississippi State - no idea how they compare to VTech or NC State. Tulane - won ECU's conference last year.

Agree, though I understand the reasoning, that's awesome scheduling for your fans with great opportunity to prove yourself and the legitimacy of the SunBelt.

All these are lists are based 100% on last year. So they will be 100% correct if you can take your team, travel back in time, and play your opponents 2022 team.

Also, in the OP, their method puts the same value on playing 9-3 Notre Dame on the road and 9-3 Toledo at home. So there’s that too.
