I've never really thought about it. I've always gotten my tickets in the mail and prefer it that way. As Skully mentioned, I just put the parking pass on the dash instead of having to pull my phone out, and pulling out a ticket at the gate is just more convenient. Certain areas of the stadium require bracelets that have to be mailed anyway, even though I didn't get mine last year. I do like the idea of digital in case you lose your tickets, etc.

Just screenshot the ticket before leaving your home. It'll scan just fine. I do this with digital concert tickets too.

Or just add the ticket to your wallet if you have an iPhone.

It is safer to add it to your wallet. I have been to events that screenshots wouldn’t scan. To their credit, they made it clear in advance. Ticketmaster handled the App/ECU game in Charlotte and they would not accept a screenshot.

I've seen some that have a rotating/changing QR code so that you can't copy it and get more people in on one ticket. Have no clue how the technology works, but that makes sense pn why a screen shot would not work.
