Hate Bowl Archives
UNT & UTSA have had a brief history together, but it is a colorful history so far, with many incredible games since 2013. This thread is an archive of those battles on the gridiron.

Many UTSA fans Hate North Texas, and we don't care much for their program either. Here is a rundown of the History of Hate for those wondering just how we got to this point...

2012- UTSA joins the WAC (In the months leading up to the invitation, myself and maybe a few other North Texas fans frequented the WAC board and expressed our displeasure at the addition.=UTSA fans didn't appreciate this)

Later in 2012- It was announced that UTSA would be joining C-USA for the 2013 season (Myself, a few other UNT fans, and some UTEP fans expressed our displeasure about this addition. = UTSA fans didn't appreciate this)

RE: Hate Bowl Archives
Updates from the last few seasons.....

2020- Hate Bowl IIIV: The COVID year was rough and UTSA flat out whipped North Texas in San Antonio. Final score: UNT 17 UTSA 49.

2021- Hate Bowl IX: UTSA came to Denton ranked 15th in the nation, but their undefeated season ended at the hands of the Mean Green. In this series records mean very little. Final Score: UTSA 23 North Texas 45.

2022- Hate Bowl X & Hate Bowl X.5: A double portion of hate in '22. In their final season in C-USA, these teams were destined to close the doors on C-USA 3.0, with UTSA taking both games. In the regular season meeting in San Antonio UTSA took a close win by a score of 31-27. In the C-USA Title Game, UTSA ran it up on the Mean Green. The final score being 48-27. UNT's coach Seth Littrell was fired after the loss.

Sadly, UTSA now holds a 6 to 5 advantage in the series.
