Yep--UTSA is my favorite until proven otherwise. Can't wait to make another trip to the Alamodome.

Having no divisions will be better for us this year. I don't think we'll be able to make it to the Championship game, but we should be in striking distance until late in the year. At least that's my expectation. If we win the whole thing, even better! Sure beats being the favorite and laying an egg.

UTSA should be very good again. Everybody else has question marks but I would expect FAU to improve significantly and perhaps Charlotte as well.

UTSA is the correct answer although I do like the long term aspect of UAB, UNCC, and FAU already getting their new coaches. You have to imagine that UTSA’s coach is prime for the poaching if he puts it together a 3rd year in a row and I’d be curious to see what happens when that occurs. So many unknowns with coaching in the new 6

Looks like the new 6 are expected to perform like the legacy 8. Teams and talent are close. Coaching will be the likely difference in exceeding expectations or not exceeding expectations.

I'd be pleasantly surprised to finish 5th. I'm expecting something more in the 7-10 range.

Interesting that after all of the Dilfer-bashing, UAB is still expected by many (most?) to finish in the top half of the AAC...
