Exclamation Season Ticket Progress
Last season was a record year for season ticket sales for many of the SBC's programs. How are sales so far? I don't have an official number for Troy, but this is a good sign:

I don’t think that’s the plan. It feels like the plan is to build premium seating.

Rumor is we already sold out. The pause for season tickets will likely become official once single game ticket sales start this week.

And we got over 9k after extra season ticket sales during the reseating process.

RE: Season Ticket Progress
Demand this year at jmu has been significant.

Expansion rumors are floating around quietly.

I’d be shocked if we don’t see shovels in the ground, or at least plans announced within 4-5 years, maybe sooner.

Within 7-8 years I’d expect to see a 35,000 seat Bridgeforth Stadium at JMU.

You guys averaged 33K last season in a 30K seat stadium. That was the logic I was using.

Additional premium seating is coming in the next few years. That will however open up some of the non-premium seating as some of those individuals transition to premium. All in all we should be around 40k after that.

Southern Miss has sold over 8k at the moment. On track for slightly higher than our average for the past few years I think.

Less than ideal home scheduling for the bobcats 2023 season. It'll take a historic Troy season and for them to travel well in order to break 25K single game paid home attendance. Not terrible considering in 6 seasons GSU has still not broken 25K attendance at the new Center Parc Stadium despite having Army, Troy, GS and UNC come to town.

Secondary market tickets for the ECU game are around $170 right now. Pretty sure there will be 40,000 seats there.

The question really is, what can you do? App would get 40,000 for ECU, UNC, Duke, Wake, NC State, or maybe any P5 really. Marshall may get to 35,000. But other than that, I don't know that you'd have a justification. App could get up to 50,000 like ECU did, then have performance fall off a cliff and then you're right back to 28,000 in attendance and a half empty stadium.

There's nowhere close to 30,000 seats even. It's something like 27,500 actual seats. The hill is counted and there's probably 8,000 people that fit into the student section that has only 5,000 "seats". I think we just go with what actually is a seat? way of thinking in Boone.....

Not that we are going to do this but if we were to play ECU and Charlotte every year alternating one at home and the other on the road, we likely are approaching if not hitting 40k annually for that game. Make the FCS game parents weekend and we are likely hitting 35k most years. Home games not played Thanksgiving weekend against a good Marshall, Coastal, Georgia Southern or JMU team are likely approaching if not making 40k as well. We have played 3 games in that scenario over the past 2 seasons and we have sold out all 3 with two of those even being weeknight games. We have averaged 30,895 between those 3. Obviously any power 5 team likely brings 40k as well. Additionally, homecoming likely brings at least 35k every year if not 40k if available. That means you’re pushing or making 40K at least three times per season and you’re likely over 35k at least 4 times per season if not more.

Expansion will require a significant amount of resources to the infrastructure of the stadium. The Fire Marshall puts a cap on the max attendance of 40k- ish. The new tower will alleviate some of those issues with the addition of egresses and facilities.

RE: Season Ticket Progress
JMU just sold out of season tickets @ ~ 8700.

USA game has sold out as well. Homecoming vs ODU is also a guaranteed sellout. Maybe 3,000 GA tickets available in total across the other 4 home games.
