Men's College World Series WMU
Interesting that Mike Monaco is the lead day game announcer. Has worked WMU home games in many sports on our ESPN productions.

Another interesting fact is the last time Wake Forest won the big dance was 1955 a 7 to 6 win over Western Michigan! I will cheer for them this year.

Many people know/don’t know that the first two college World Series’s were played at Hyames Field in 1947-1948

President George HW Bush played at Hyames Field in the CWS as a member of Yale's baseball team.

The American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame was in Gary Center for many years too.
