Of course it is… it’s no cake walk for South either and they got Marshall left in the East. But from what I’ve seen I’m pretty confident it will be either South or Troy to win the west.

Both these teams gave JMU all it could have handled and both games could have gone either way. I doubt JMU is in the championship game but if they are Troy or South would have a pretty decent shot at beating them. It’s never easy to beat the same team twice in 1 year.

If Troy wins the West do they get promoted to the East next year? Who gets relegated? :)

We’ve already been in the East. Not going back lol.

Based on what I’ve seen both Troy and JMU have gotten better as the year goes on. In a pick’em on a neutral site I would take JMU. They both have great defense, but JMU is better on offense and special teams IMO.

It’s very hard to go 12-0, but the only team that can stop them from getting there is JMU.

Yeah this is spot on imo. South has just absolutely **** on their two opponents since we beat them, looking forward to seeing what they do against the Cajuns. Troy has improved as the year has gone on and I think USA is a much better team than they were for a good chunk of our game... But JMU has improved too and is finally playing a full 60 minutes each of the last two games. I'd favor us in either rematch, but if we played 10 times I wouldn't expect to win more than six or maybe seven with some luck. A rematch could easily go either way.

All three teams are real damn good, I wish K State and Tulane(and especially Central Michigan!) would've caught Troy and USA on a better day. I don't think our guys would lose any of those rematches today.

How good is the East? They’re 25-9 outside of the division. Their losses? At VT by 19, vs Wake by 3, vs Troy by 21, at Wisconsin by 21, at UCLA by 14, at NCSt by 7, at UNC by 6(2OT), at Wyoming by 3. If App St beats USM at home, all 7 schools will be 500 or better going into week 10.

2022 (West Champion):
West 8-7 East

2023 (West Champion):
West 4-11 East

Just wanted to bump this with the results because I was curious. East with a crooked W/L number in 2023, but most were close. Fun year gents, good luck in your respective bowls*
