Regardless of what happens Sunday, what a season it's been and can be built on. ODU, GASO, TxSt, South Alabama all had relatively down years. This conference has the potential to be REALLY good. I'm talking a T3 conference if everyone plays to their potential. I'm proud as heck to be in the SBC. Thanks for having us!

I was able to watch a bit of the last inning last night with USM.

Congratulations to those making regionals. Painful to poop the bed so hard so late in the season but wish the SBC reps well.

4 out of 14 in anything as a G5 is amazing. I'm excited to get our field and be able to recruit with a new coach and a tangible place for them to play right across the street from campus. We will support a winner. Soccer and softball have proven that. We get any kind of breakout in baseball and it will grow very quickly.

To be fair UNCW really isn’t a stolen bid. They have an RPI in the 40s.

Yeah, they are clearly under represented at the Regional level. They should just invite all 14 SEC teams to play and rename it the SEC invitational tournament.

SBC will probably send 3 to the regionals. Even without Louisiana winning another game just 2-3 more wins out of conference where the conference as a whole did poorly at the end probably would get Louisiana in.

Doesn't help they only have 8 teams playing baseball anyway. Needed to drop the last two from the tournament or not have one at all.

Baseball is one sport where the AAC will actually improve with the CUSA 6 coming in. DBU and Liberty will dominate C-DOA going forward.

Unfortunately, I disagree that four will go. I have seen what the NCAA has done over the years with its bias for the SEC and other so called Power Fives. Troy and Lousiana absolutely deserve to be awarded a bid to the tournament, but the committee’s bias will keep this from happening. Hope I am wrong, but I saw this last year with our last time in CUSA with UTSA and Old Dominion getting snubbed for silver spoon teams.
