Getting married this weekend 5/27, finally making an honest woman out of my Fiancé after 2 kiddos.

Gotta say I’m pretty excited thinking about how many times I can trick my wife into spending future anniversaries in Montgomery Alabama for the SBC baseball tournament.

Congratulations! This weekend will be 21 years for me and the Mrs.

Memorial Day weekend is a nice time to get married. We have taken advantage of the three day weekends for many an anniversary get away over the years.

Yes didn’t think about that in the beginning. Glad it worked out this way because originally was going to be 4/29 or 4/22 until we had some issues with original venue

Only downside of bye week marriages is that you probably won't be on bye during your anniversary weekends.

Depends on the school. Sometimes a long rebuild can feel like permanent bye weeks 52 weeks a year.

Well, I looked into our future and our wedding anniversary only falls on a Saturday once in the next 5 years. It’s a week 3 matchup at ECU in 2024. I asked “wanna go to the game and the beach for a few days?” She said “deal”. All’s well.

My wife is a diehard for Auburn so there was no way we were going to commit the sin of a fall Saturday wedding in the South. I suppose we could have settled on a bye week if it meant only the UGA fans in the family had to miss their game...
