I assume Berry is coaching out the post season?

He’s retiring after the season, so yeah. Same as Corky did.

If only our hiring practices in football had that kind of continuity, right?

I mean, you don’t necessarily have to hire from within every time, especially if the coach you’re replacing is taking most/all of his staff elsewhere, but geesh. If a hotshot OC climbing his career ladder gets you to 9+ wins, maybe don’t replace him with a career defensive assistant making retirement plans.

Yep.. I know a conference mate would disagree with that, but I think we'd still be on the upward swing and would've been in a great position.
