There are 9 bowling leagues nationally. NCAA is pushing for the sport to be fully sponsored by leagues since there's more and more teams that sponsor the sport now.

Bowling is not division specific, so Division I, Division II, and Division III all play in one division against each other. Does anyone know if a bowling conference can exist with mixed Div I/II/III membership?

Hey, we went from winning 4 league games all of last season to winning 1 game every weekend but two this year. That's at least a baby step.

There are a lot of jokes to be made about the finances around college bowling, but I realized in thinking it that if some gorgeous female bowler comes along and is handled right on social media, she could probably rake in some NIL money.

Just for the record, I was a collegiate bowling for Morehead State back in the mid 80s. It was a blast. Being an “athlete” that can drink without really hurting performance made for some awesome road trips. Oh, and were nationally ranked 2 of the 3 years I was on the team (but our women’s team was ranked higher). No scholarship, but free books!

I actually worked at the SWAC bowling tournament a few years ago. When I told the folks at my regular work location I wouldn’t be around that day because of it, it took me a while to convince them I was serious.
