Big reason Auburn coaching staff went Portal QB shopping.

Worth noting is Keon Coleman is visiting Auburn today after a commitment from former Ohio State WR yesterday.

None of this is worth noting. This has nothing to do with Western Michigan

If you dislike a thread maybe don't read it.

Maybe moderate the board for once in your existence.

What's the problem, Liam? Why are you upset that people are discussing MSU players?

We have our own program and our own transfers. It is sort of the entire point of this thing. We are over exposed to B1G programs all the time. Can we just have a refuge where we can talk WMU and not have to hear about that over exposed, mediocre, arrogrant jerk ass program in East Lansing?

It is OT season. We could be discussing things like the swinger lifestyle but instead we are discussing football. I see no issues.

I get it but dude had connections to WMU and some were thinking he could transfer here.

I hate the Pig 10 programs as much as the next guy, but this thread was about a player that had several connections to WMU. I don't think it's unreasonable that some people would want to talk about it. This board is dead in the offseason anyway.

Also, you could just not read the things you don't want to read.

I resigned as a moderator over a dozen years ago. But thanks for telling me how to do a job I don't have.

Quote:Unfortunately for MSU thats what he is...A very good MAC quarterback.

A very good MAC quarterback is a pretty good QB in the B1G with a nice offensive line. Thorne went south this past year, so no, I wouldn't think he'd be seen as a very good MAC QB.

Auburn picked him up -- maybe he had some connections there + they weren't terribly solid on the QB front + they saw he may have just had a bad year last year and would put his heart into things and be a great backup for his last year in college.

Interesting to see if 2021 Thorne or 2022 Thorne shows up down there. The pro-PT guys say he was (secretly) battling an injury all last year that he suffered in our opening game. The anti-PT guys say he just had more talent around him in 2021, and Kenneth Walker took a lot of attention off him.
