Chad Ryland (Kicker) from Maryland just got picked. Transferred from EMU in 2022. Seeing the effect of the transfer portal with some of the selections this year. The effect will be even greater in future years.

EMU's Jose Ramirez drafted in Round 6 by Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I have to admit, I'm glad we don't have to deal with him in the near future.

Regarding Ramirez, after he was drafted, 2 of the 3 quick highlights ESPN showed was him just whipping our O-line during our game last year. Brought back awful memories of that game.

This year's "Mr. Irrelevant" is Desjuan Johnson from Toledo. Some may remember he originally committed to WMU and flipped late to UT.

For me, it was a bit of a pleasant surprise when Barnes got drafted, early 6th round no less. He was a great linebacker for us, but I didn't think any Broncos were going to get drafted this year. I think Barnes' sheer athleticism turned heads. He had a great pro day and played well at the NFLPA bowl.

Dylan Deatherage got picked up by the Texans as a UDFA. I wonder if we'll see any of the other guys land somewhere, potentially XFL/USFL/CFL. Corvin Moment and Bricen Garner are likely candidates.
