I’m not excited about this. We have way too many 6’5” - 6’7” players.

I feel the same way. It tells me that the coaches are ready to go forward at either PG or C with what they've got. Maybe they feel that Nwagha and Metcalf along with Johnson (whose strength is rebounding and has no outside shot) can handle the middle.
Just to put Kermouny's bio in perspective.....he did play on Sweden's under 18 team in last summer's tourney...which Sweden won......and he was named one of the five all stars of the tourney. He is now playing on Sweden's top pro team and competing well with players a lot older than him.

Sometimes the approach is simple. Get talent and figure the rest out later. Just a thought

I think that's right. Especially since we''ve contacted a bunch of PG's and bigs snd one by one they've been signing elsewhere..

JB Frankel from Brewster Academy
YES!!!!!!! I love getting kids from top prep schools. NERR rates the best players by state and the top nine in NH are playing for Brewster.....with most of them going to P5's. Frankel at thirteen....just behind number twelve Brewster player Sawyer Mayhugh. Kyle Squires has the same background playing ln 21-22 for national prep champion NMH and since Frankel played his junior year at NMH I assume they were both on that same prep team.
I wish I could some stats but it sounds like Frankel played meaningful minutes for Brewster in spite of all the talent ahead of him. Highlight reels aren't worth looking at but there is a full game YouTube video against Worcester Academy from this spring. JB didn't start but he came into the game early at about the fifteen minute mark and wound up playing fifteen or so minutes and, yes, he was their PG when he was on the floor!. I hope that game is typical of his whole year because I was happy with what I saw.
I wonder how we were able to add him since we were already at thirteen.

RE: Men’s Hoops Offseason
It's been a while since I've checked out Verbal Commits and I was surprised to see that we have six 2024 offers out there. Who we bring in as freshmen and from the portal next year will depend on how the upcoming season goes. If we have a third season finishing near the bottom of the league than we will, again, be able to sign players that don't get a lot of interest from other teams. What we need is to finish in the top third in 23-24. With Chris coming back that is at least a possibility. So all we need now is for a couple of last year's freshmen to blossom, one or two of the recruits to be hidden gems, Sakota to have a bounce back year and a normal year, for a change, of injuries.
PS. I don't mean to sound negative about our three first year players just because they were under-recruited. I mean, one is from Sweden, one redshirted as a freshman last year and one did not start for a top prep school.
