NU made the 1 hour and 15 minute drive to Storrs to visit #15 UConn, and the Boston Huskies, behind 5 homers, thump the other Huskies 12-3.

It was NU’s second straight win at UConn (9-4 win in ‘22).

Starter Jake Gigliotti got the win (6-0) and has midweek wins at Duke, vs. BC and at UConn.

The offense pounded UConn from the start, as Cam Maldonado ripped a 3-run HR in the top of the 1st to give NU the early lead.
