NU headed up I-90 to take on UMass in the consolation game of the Beanpot, and they came away with an 18-11 win. NU is now 26-6

Freshman OF, coming off being named Rookie of the Week, hit for the cycle going 5-6 with 6 RBI. 1B Tyler MacGregor (4-for-6) and C Matt Brinker (1-for-3) added in three more RBI each. Starter Jake Gigliotti got the win (5-0). Griffin Young was solid out of the bullpen with 2.1 innings of relief.

Huskies head to Stony Brook this weekend for a three-game series with the Seawolves.
