Might not happen but it's possible they would be wary to use too much space back there just in case. Altho, if they do go building something there, incorporating it with the baseball would be amazing

I mean, that also shows dorms going where the chemistry building was already built, softball fields that will never be built and dorms around the football field. So I’m not sure if we should even think about what was in the 2013 master plan at this point. Luckily the next master plan should be out soon.

It also seems to show student housing surrounding the football field. How would that happen?

I’m pretty sure that is a recreational field for the dorms. It is showing the new stadium where Powhatan is now.

Agreed the new master plan will be more revealing about what their plans are moving forward. Also, student housing or no, they still built the Chemistry building basically exactly where the upper half of that sliver of student housing is on the plan. I'm just saying the plan showed intentions of building *something* non-athletics related, and to not be surprised if they're still saving that space there for something that isn't an outfield fan area.

Got it. That really is an old plan.

This plan was one of those wood Selig's dunken night mishaps. Remember the time we were sold boat gating stadium and sb Ballard turned into a practice field surrounded by dorms etc. That was nothing but a wasted effort by some graphic designer.

One thing I noticed at the game yesterday but had not noticed before, the scoreboard doesn't tell you what inning the game is in, other than actually counting each one.
