You’ve got a good one. I’ve been at Jones seven years now and her ladies have won the region championship every year I’ve been here. Her girls are always well-mannered and she has recruited some great talent here. Hate to see her leave. She’s been my hope for the USM job when our current coach finishes. Hope she does well for you guys so we can steal her in a few years.

Dang. It just dawned on me: Buildherback. Well, we surely need someone to build it back.

It's past time that App moved on from Eldekin. In nine years she has a 43% winning % in conf games, 38% in non conf D-1 games and has never finished higher than 4th. She finished 10th this season and has two 9th place finishes, two 8th place finishes, one 7th and two 5ths.

When our current coach finishes? JLM has the job security of a Supreme Court Justice.

This hire is almost a copy of when John Hartwell hired Chanda Rigby at Troy.

Rigby was an extremely successful NJCAA head coach before being hired at Troy, just like Bilderback.

I'm curious what style of basketball Bilderback runs.

Hartwell mentioned Rigby in his comments yesterday. I believe he discussed Bilderback with her prior to meeting. Hopefully Bilderback can replicate the success that Rigby has had and we can become something more than an automatic W for folks. Not asking for a return to the Final Four (yet) but get up to 20 wins a year and you got a home run hire.
