The fighting Drew Williamsons to the F4
Congrats to Drew. I’m 100% jealous, but it is good to see yet another non privileged 5 team make it. One day…

I don't care if it's Drew, **** FAU. I hate those turds. Hope they get knocked out and lose everything from coach to players. Florida garbage.

Congrats to Drew. He has always been a winner. On another thought, think of the money, ODU lost by Moving conferences. Sunbelt has a great football conference but poor basketball. It Will be tough for RR. Maybe, if we had the right coach we could go to the NCAA next year.

I’m happy to see the CUSA bust through and have a big year. They were over due. Conf has always done well in March with some NIT final fours and first round NCAA wins. Just proving they can play w anybody as has always been the case. The problem in the conference was never the basketball itself, it was just the logistics which kill fan interest and potential for rivalries. But the league has been producing some good teams. FAU plays a great style. 4 physical guards and a center. All are athletic and quick and playmakers and shooters. Very hard to guard and deep. They only play 2 bigs and they don’t play them together ever. Basically always play 4 guards and a center. Really fun to watch.

They really spread teams out. And can still compete defensively. They were def prepared for Nowell. Very fun team to watch, I saw a bunch of their games this year.

I'd love to see the fighting Drew Williamson bring that style of play and those kind of players to the Monarchs.
FAU really has everything -
Good coaching.
Lots of dependable 3-point shooters.
Good ball handlers off the dribble.
Lots of offensive movement.
Good passing team.
Lots of talented depth that is utilized.
Good size and talent in the post.
Good individual and team defense.
Good rebounding.
They play smart.

Dr. Selig lost a lot of money. I'm not sure what a conference member will get, but unfortunately ODU will not see it.

Ok. Drew is an Assistant Coach at FAU
Do you think he’ll get poached to be a D1 HC next year?
(Why not us?)

Crazier things have happened but that would be surprising. I would imagine it would have to be May getting the PSU job and Drew taking over FAU but I dont know that he would be the first choose of their current assistants to take over.

According to NCAA, can an AD contact (from another college) talk with a coach, WHO is still in the tourament?

No. But, you are perfectly fine with speaking with the agent.

Because Drew played basketball and spent 2 years in ODU basketball operations (before coachning) I would at least think the VP would have something in the paper, since he is an assistent coach at FAU.

They can barely keep up with local stuff. I wouldn't expect much.
