I have a feeling we show up ready to play tomorrow and take care of business.

Jon Rothstein reported last night he was taking the Cal job. He also wasn't present for the team press conferences yesterday.
He was at home with his wife, who is close to giving birth, during the press conference. Word was that he would be at the game tonight if she has not had the baby and then head back home after the game. With that said, I do think he will be the Cal head coach, which is think is a mistake for Stanford. I'm a Haase fan, but sometimes a change is needed. They should have gotten ahead of that.

RE: UAB & UNT - Collision Course?
Can we strike any mention of Ehsan from our history please?

I don't think we will come out and vomit on ourselves like we did against FAU, but this is a team that could easily beat us, and pretty handily, if we aren't ready. I feel like we will win, especially given how well we've played for a long time now (sans the FAU humiliation), our positive momentum in the NIT, and the coaching rumors with Mark Madsen.

I kind of want to play Wisconsin if we do win. No disrespect to UNT, but I like the way we ended their season and don't want to have to go through the torture of playing them again. I'd love to take down a big name, blue blood college team on our way to an NIT championship.

This season was a let down, but this team can still end it in a very special way. I hope they are in the right mindset. We're due for a vintage Jelly game.

Haase would've been gone 3 years ago at a normal school. He's done nothing at Stanford.

Rob Ehsan never dishonored our school or program. He just failed to win games.

Now, I am in favor of erasing Mike Davis and Watson Brown, and not because they lost games. Just because they didn't get caught doesn't make it right.

UVU is a good team. We will defeat them.

It didn't hurt our guys at Vandy.

Ruined the broadcast for me. Whenever the networks have put her on screen they will lose thousands of viewers immediately.

Would have been a better story to say that these schools performing so well are leaving CUSA for the AAC and that the AAC will be strong next season.
Then you can also talk about her getting Liberty and KSU from the ASUN and Sam Houston State and Jacksonville State. But don't give her props for this season.

ESPN had it -1.5 earlier so it's already moved in our favor some.

Don’t overlook that C-USA is coming back to the ESPN family next season … not coincidence

I also think it's very fitting that UAB finally reaches the NIT championship, and we have 2 CUSA teams in the semis and now championship, and they moved it to Vegas to a minor league hockey arena rather than Madison Square Garden. Yes, I know that its going to be rotating to different venues, but its just fitting that its our last season in CUSA and they move it away from the historic venue.

This will be the first time we have EVER played a school four times in the same season. It's a rare feat for any team, actually, and would mean you would have your home-and-home conference games, meet in the conference tournament, and then end up being matched up in the post-season

Funny you mention it. A guy I work with is a former sportswriter, and a sports info junkie. I made this same point to him, and he dug up info on the topic. See here:
