It use to be if you were good, and was a sophomore, we would have back 2 more years. That’s old basketball.

The NCAA has completely ruined that, unless you have a lot of rich donors.

Based on these rules, this is the present level of ODU basketball, going into next (so far).

Wade. Injuries have limited him to just a few minutes per game.
Williams. Strong rebounder but has trouble hitting a shot 2 feet in front of him.
IMO good point guard but not a scoring threat.
Baker could be a great 3 pt shooter but offense brings nothing else to the game.
Jenkins only scoring threat coming back. Needs more discipline when handling the ball.

That’s it, unless Wood has some more big donors for nil funding. It would be hard to ask considering the donors money spent on Football and now Baseball. Maybe, JJ should get out. The game has changed for schools like ODU.
