Looking at all the bracket formats, it looks like teams keep their seeding all the way to the E8, but then the F4 teams are always separated in their own little tournament bracket.

I'm guessing this means that the teams are re-seeded in the F4 so that the remaining top 2 seeds get a potential matchup in the Champ game.

Can anyone confirm or refute that? Thanks!

I've never heard of rebrackets in the NCAA tournament. Doesnt happen.

So then South champ plays East champ, and Midwest Champ plays West Champ in the semis, just like its drawn up on the brackets or what?

hehe, not trynna jinx nothing, just checking that if UH and 'Bama make the F4, we don't meet them in the semis, ala UH vs UL in '83. I thought that was a stupid waste of a great potential champ game (not to mention the sh*tty outcome in the champ game itself. LOL).
