For it to be a rivalry there has to be a give and take with worthy opponents. The Sun Belt has never stood a chance against any of us. Beat down after beat down is not a rivalry. They are worse than some D II conferences. Of course they will come over here and talk about some random win against us 25 years ago but that is sadly all they have. It’s sad and embarrassing and I’m tired of the delusion.

The AAC was demonstratively superior to the Sunbelt in FB and BB. It is not a "complex". It is a fact.

Lol uh yes they did and yes we did. We had App St fans over here quite a few times. Whom ever the AAC play usually brings those people out. Funbelt and the mWC have usually brought the most.

I kind of agree. We have to do a better job of not falling into responding to their troll posts. Once UNT left the Sun Belt, I focused my posts on the C-USA board and would occasionally post here as UNT was focused on building AAC quality resources and facilities. But, I stopped engaging in discussions on the Sun Belt board. And to be honest the posters most inclined to troll the AAC board, seem to be former C-USA (ODU, Marshall, & Southern Miss) members that got passed over in expansion.

Now that we are in the AAC, I think the focus should be on the mission of the AAC and how we can elevate our individual programs to ensure this conference is always among the top 6 conferences.
