RE: First Four
Also, and this is a minor quip, I wish the article writers wouldn't call this a magical season. It was a lucky run at the end.

Same way we replaced Reed, Nygal and Thompson last year. And those won't be the only ones I'm guessing. Mid and low majors will never have another steady roster. Ever. Might as well get used to it.

I really thought last night would be a replay of the Morehead semifinal game. The last 10 mins of the game they finally got going. If SEMO shot the same FT% as they did the Morehead game, then we'd be prepping for AL. No quit in the team and it's nice to see some national tv exposure for the school and sports departments. Basketball and Football should be set up for future success. Maybe the exposure will help increase funding for the Football "multi-use" complex and the Phase 2 and 3 will start sooner than later.
Yeah, I'm guessing at least 3 players will transfer out. But it's shown that Korn and Co can replace players. Wonder if Eric Reed met up with his old teammates last night in Dayton?

Who would you guess? I feel like the guys who have transferred in originally won't because of the sit out rule, correct?
Eursher, Hanback, Larson, Idada, Mitchell, Branson seem like that main candidates. Branson and Larson seem to be pretty committed but I could be wrong.

The transfer portal is out of control. It really leaves mid-major and low-major schools like SEMO in a bad place because those from the power 5 schools come and take your best players so you have to start over again and again every year. Coach K though seems to be great at getting the best out of whatever players he has. So as long as he stays at SEMO we will have a fighting chance.
If we could have just hit at least half of our free throws the other night we could get our butts kicked by the Tide today, on national TV, which would be great exposure for the program.

The portal also allows us to get guys from some bigger schools like we did this past year, it is tough. I would rather go after transfers that have 2+ years left so it is more likely those guys stay
