Good point. Hoping Jizzle and/or Rayvon can be Big XII Freshman of the Year candidates in 2024!

Very cool to see Landers get up to 1st team. I'm guessing all of the individual accolades for Houston players gave the coaches/media/whoever votes on this a bit more leeway to get other players into the 1st team from other teams.

True, and had UC finished its upset bid in Houston weeks ago the Bearcats would have had one of the best regular season wins in program history--on the road playing a certain #1 seed in March Madness.

Funny how perception of a season can turn on just a few minutes of playing time. This UC team is a handful of close losses from being an NCAA at-large team. But I realize that's the lament of scores of teams each year and an obstacle Wes must still overcome to be where Bearcat basketball deserves to be this time of year.

Agreed. And here's hoping Landers and DDJ can take control of scoring in Friday's game and help UC advance for another shot at Houston.

Vik had a pretty good case for Most Improved but I guess you can't argue with the Houston guy considering how his impact has elevated Houston this season.

wonder if Houston will be penalized for Coach Sampson violating rules on phone calls like 2 of his previous schools?
