The entire Monarch Community feels this same way. Frankly...I have been worn down and had virtually NO desire to support the basketball program over the last few years. There was a little pride gained after attending and seeing the teams performance at the Charleston classic but that was very short lived. Wood needs to come out and make a statement on the expectations moving forward and his plan on how to improve the program.

He didn’t last year after a disastrous season, so why in the world would he do so this year? Woody is who he is too, just like Jones. He has been this way the whole time he has been here. Our only hope is our President steps in and forces change. Otherwise, same old same old. Very sad.

I guess nobody on the all tournament team…

The performance in these conference tournaments over the last 10 years are just mind boggling. It’s one thing to lose, but it’s the way they lose. Being embarrassed. Did the team have like 18 points at halftime last year? They lost to UTEP. I think they played decent in the second half but the first half was embarrassing. I want to say it was like 32-18 or something like that.

Our baseball team scored 39 runs over their weekend series vs St. Joes. Fun to think about.
