Charleston discord was cheering for us to win so they could avoid Towson

Thomas had the ball to win the game and just about did. If he converted that drive, we probably win. It was a nice take so the staff did make an adjustment. Thomas can get to the paint near the hole really well.

He can also draw the foul better because of the way he forces contact. Gotta' hit that first FT though...

That was a tough and frustrating loss. In the first half, we looked like a team that could win the CAA. I'm still trying to understand what happened in the second half. It seemed like we were just driving into double teams and getting blocked or trying highly contested shots. I thought we were kicking out for open 3s more in the first half. I'm thinking about watching it again, but I don't think I could take it.

That said, if we can play two halfs like we're capable of during the tournament games--who knows?

Towson is a very physical team.I think we actually out physicaled them in the 1st half. I believe they wore us down in the 2nd half enough where we were missing contested shots we were making in the 1st half.

Disagree there. Sure they made some contested shots in half one but the ball movement was better, they pushed the tempo better, and the shot quality in half one was the result of that. Second half they stopped moving, stopped pushing the tempo and the end result was more contested shots

UNCW got exactly one offensive rebound (the whole team) against Towson. No bueno.....

Not the team to get into a halfcourt slugfest with and that's exactly what we tried to do in the second half.
