Coach Andrea Williams took over the women's basketball program this season with a massive roster turnover and all the confusion and discouragement of not having a conference home and having to play so many games on the road. And we have won only 4 games.

However, if you look back, the last time we won more than four games was in 2011-12 when we won six. And we might win six yet this season, because we still have two games at home against Hartford, and we have already had two double-digit wins against them at their place.

Looks like Coach Williams was a good hire.

But don’t forget, they lady Cougars had double digit wins 9 out of 11 seasons from around 2000-11. They were runners up in the Mid Continent, won the Great West regular season and tournament, won 2 post seasons games, and had their best record, 24-11, in that period. Success can definitely be achieved there.
